Water ingress under an unsealed door frame damaged the stop. Decayed material was replaced with water resistant material and blended to restore the function and appearance. Thin layer of silicone seal prevents future damage.

We reinforced existing floor joists and then installed and leveled heavier sub-floor to provide additional stiffness to the 2nd floor. Non allergenic sound deadening insulation was placed in the floor cavity replacing existing material.

A bit of weather related damage caused by water ingress past cracked caulk was repaired by removing and replacing a portion of the sheathing and framing. The job was minimally invasive, new sheathing and refreshed siding with proper flashing, barrier, paint and caulk completed the repair.

Access opening in drywall was cleaned up and restored. We matched the texture and painted the wall with 2 coats of semi-gloss, then re-hung mirrors. Client could not detect the repaired area!

Bathroom was fully remodeled including an added wall, blocking, floating shelves, new texture, paint, LVT flooring, baseboards, shower surround and door, vanity, sink, toilet, and fixtures. No plumbing was moved, yet the look and feel was greatly improved for a reasonable investment.

A high flow quieter exhaust fan with adjustable light settings was installed during a remodel. Best moisture performance value.

Replaced an older non-functional fan with modern light weight fan light fixture in cabin.

Modern vinyl window replaced a broken metal framed window in cabin. Custom trim was sourced and installed to preserve the design theme of the home.

This cabinetry and butcher block was added to a small utility room with plain walls just off the kitchen to be used for storage and hobbies. Great functional de-clutter solution.

Carpet was removed and replaced with this engineered hardwood in a bedroom resulting in a clean allergen free feel.

A larger upgraded exterior light, flashing and cement trim improved the style of the entry.

A very small well house in the forest was replaced with a larger fireproof structure including 4 foot cinder block walls, cement siding, insulation, ventilation, metal roof and metal door. Now also provides storage for tools.

The weather facing LP siding was taking a beating, along with areas prone to unwanted intruders. Soffits were framed, windows were re-flashed, then cement Hardi Panel board and batten surrounded by 5/4 Hardi Trim added protection around the unique window design. Upgrades included pest removal, 0.5” rainscreen, pre-painted materials and restoration of gable fascia. Smooth surfaces provide less attraction for stinging insects and Hardi-Soffit directs the air flow for proper roof ventilation.

Living at the edge of a forest is less stressful with fire resistant materials. Wood based LP siding and trim was replaced with cement material along with a smoother gable end detail on this rural home.
